Section V basketball players, cheerleaders on the Ronald McDonald House All-Star roster

Take some of the area's top high school basketball players, add cheerleaders, coaches and very willing referees. And bring them all together for two games to aid the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Rochester.

What you have is a mix that has raised more than $370,000 since 1986, according to organizers of the Greater Rochester Ronald McDonald House High School All-Star Basketball Games.

The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Rochester works with families who have children receiving care in Rochester, providing a place to stay, transportation, meals and more.

Coaches of girls and boys teams in leagues around Section V select the 58 players, all who are in their senior years. This year's all-star doubleheader is March 25 at Rush-Henrietta, beginning at 1 p.m.
