Security Breach Causes Delays and Disruption at Melbourne Airport
A security breach caused early morning disruption and delays at Australia’s Melbourne Airport, after passengers were required to be re-screened at security checkpoints.
This footage, filmed by Nathan Berry, shows a Qantas domestic terminal crowded with passengers.
According to local media reports a passenger “inadvertently” breached security at the airport.
“As a precaution all Qantas operations have been put on hold and passengers in the terminal are being rescreened, which is causing delays to some services this morning”, according to ABC, citing a Qantas spokesperson.
