Security Camera Captures Sacrificial Bull on the Run in Suburban Long Island
A home security camera recorded the moment when a young Long Island family spotted a 1,500-pound runaway bull trotting past their home in Mastic, New York, on July 20.
Footage shared by Marissa Quinones shows the bull running in front of her house, as her daughters say, “What?!” and “Mom, there’s a cow outside!”
A few moments later, a man is seen jumping over their fence as he chases the bull down the road.
According to local media, the bull – who was supposed to be sacrificed as part of an Eid al-Adha celebration – had escaped from a nearby slaughterhouse and was still on the loose in Suffolk County as of Wednesday morning.
