Security guard fatally shot by inmate at Dayton hospital identified as Warren County man
The security guard killed in a shooting at a Dayton hospital Wednesday has been identified as a 78-year-old Warren County man, according to the Montgomery County Coroner's Office.
Darrell Holderman of Franklin, Ohio, died Wednesday at Miami Valley Hospital, according to the coroner's office.

The Dayton Police Department said at around 10 a.m. Wednesday, a Montgomery County Jail jail imamate who was being treated at Miami Valley hospital was able to get the security guard's weapon.

The inmate shot the guard before running out of the Emergency Room and fatally shooting himself in the parking lot, according to police.
The inmate has been identified as Brian Booth, 30, of Miamisburg, Ohio.
