Details: According to the security service, the invaders "cleared out" settlements in Kyiv Oblast: they stole local residents’ property and looted abandoned houses, later sending the plunder on to their relatives.

It has been established that most of them are servicemen from military unit 6720 of the federal service of National Guard troops of the Russian Federation. Among them is a paratrooper guardsman from occupied Crimea.

Specifically, the Russian soldiers looted "trophies" – computer equipment, household appliances, jewellery, gadgets, clothing, food, etc., in Bucha between 24 February and 31 March.

The stolen property was subsequently sent by post from Mozyr to relatives at addresses in the Altai region, Siberia, and the Khabarovsk region and Sakhalin Island in Russia’s Far East.

The soldiers have been issued with notices of suspicion. They face 8-12 years’ imprisonment, and the article on "violations of the laws and customs of war" has no statute of limitations.
