Sedgwick County Zoo warns of ticket scams

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — The Sedgwick County Zoo is warning about ticket scams.

The zoo posted to Facebook about social media accounts selling discounted tickets to the zoo, claiming it’s in celebration of its 55th anniversary. They warn that you should only purchase tickets for the zoo or zoo events through their website or in person at the zoo ticket window.

In September 2023, Old Cowtown Museum experienced a similar scam. If you spot someone claiming to be selling tickets for events at the zoo, they ask that you report it immediately.

The zoo encourages anyone who may have questions about the recent ticket purchase, discount, or special offer to contact them directly at 316-660-9453.
