The men dressed as well as — if not better than! — the ladies.

With performances from the likes of Cardi B, Lizzo and Mary J. Blige and appearances form celebs like Rihanna, Yara Shahidi and Ciara, it was pretty much a given that the 2019 BET Awards would be one of the most killer red carpets of the year.

But what we didn't expect was that the men very often went above and beyond the women, sartorially speaking, at Sunday night's event. Migos delivered, as usual, in a trio of pastel suits paired with leather harnesses; actor Sinqua Walls proved that shirts can be optional in his double-breasted Gucci blazer. And the undisputed style highlight of the night? Lil Nas X in custom Pyer Moss.
