The top most expensive homes sold in December in the Freeport area ranged from $135,000 to $265,000.

Four communities in Stephenson County were represented on the December list.

Here's a look at the top ten.

The dining room and hallway have parquet wood floors. Sliders from the kitchen to the deck and backyard. Main floor laundry. The master bedroom includes a bathroom and sitting area. The garage will fit three or more cars and has two service doors and a workbench.
