See Arkansas Razorbacks basketball tour San Francisco Giants' Oracle Park before Duke game

Members of the Arkansas Razorbacks men's basketball team took time to tour the San Francisco Giants' Oracle Park on Friday ahead of playing in the NCAA Tournament Elite Eight vs. Duke on Saturday in San Francisco.

The whole team gathered for a team photo on the pitcher's mound, and they all wore San Francisco Giants ballcaps.

A photo shared by the Arkansas basketball Twitter account showed forward Jaylin Williams capturing the experience walking in the outfield on his phone. As Williams walked in the outfield, he said, "Back in the day when I played baseball, I was the best in the state of Arkansas."

The Giants' scoreboard said, "Congratulations Arkansas Razorbacks 2022 Elite 8."

Arkansas tweeted its thanks to the Giants and said, "Appreciate the #BayHogs love @SFGiants!"

Arkansas head coach Eric Musselman tweeted, "Another great experience for our players to look around @OracleParkSF and see where the @SFGiants play #BayHogs"

Arkansas center Connor Vanover said on a video that he'd play first base if he was a baseball player.

The Arkansas basketball recruiting Twitter account said of the trip, "Had to take a quick trip to see the home of the @SFGiants today before practice!"

Earlier in the day Friday, Musselman took a visit himself to the Twitter Headquarters.

Arkansas is scheduled to face Duke in the NCAA Tournament Elite Eight at 7:59 p.m. CT/5:59 p.m. PT on Saturday.

No. 4-seeded Arkansas comes into the matchup 28-8 overall. Most recently, Arkansas beat Gonzaga 74-68 on Thursday in the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16.

No. 2 seed Duke enters the contest 31-6 overall. On Thursday, Duke defeated Texas Tech 78-73 in the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16.

The winner advances to the 2022 NCAA Tournament Final Four in New Orleans that starts Saturday, April 2.

Musselman is in his third season as the Arkansas basketball head coach. He previously took Arkansas to the NCAA Tournament in 2020-21. Arkansas ended the 2021 NCAA Tournament with an 81-72 loss to Baylor in the Elite Eight.

The Arkansas men’s basketball program made its first appearance in the NCAA Tournament during the 1940-41 season. Arkansas has reached the Final Four on six occasions. Arkansas last reached the Final Four in 1995, when it lost to UCLA in the national championship game. Arkansas won its only NCAA Tournament title in 1993-94.
