  • Michelle Obama just promoted her new book Becoming in Washington D.C., where she was joined onstage afterwards by her husband, Barack Obama.

  • Michelle wore a crystal-embellished black pant suit by Christopher Kane for the event, which you can still shop.

  • In a super sweet video, Barack can be seen holding hands with his wife, spinning her around, comparing her to Beyoncé, and generally looking adoringly at her, as the crowd cheers.

No-one needs to be told that Barack and Michelle Obama are total #couplegoals, but in case you needed a refresher, the perfect video just surfaced to help you out.

While promoting her new book Becoming at an event in Washington D.C., wearing the most perfect crepe Christopher Kane suit (which you can still shop), Michelle got a major surprise. Greeting her onstage after the talk was over, the former President proved that he's the utmost gentleman by holding his wife's hand, spinning her around like the Queen that she is, and presenting her with a gorgeous bunch of flowers.

The icing on the cake, though, was when Barack quipped (per CNN), "This is like, you know, when Jay-Z comes out during the Beyoncé concert." Total swoon.

Basically, you probably need to get yourself a partner who looks at you the way Barack looks at Michelle (clue: it's beyond adorable):

In an interview with Oprah Winfrey, published this month by Harper's BAZAAR, Michelle opened up about her marriage saying, "I know that people look to me and Barack as the ideal relationship. I know there’s #RelationshipGoals out there. But whoa, people, slow down-marriage is hard!"

And it's Michelle's candor that endears us to her again and again. Rather than shying away from the challenging issues, she appears to face them head on, which is more than a little inspiring.
