It’s the one where the cast of “Friends” joins James Corden to sing “Carpool Karaoke.” And he nearly kills them.

“The Late Late Show” funnyman, who hosted the long-awaited “Friends” reunion on HBO Now last month, debuted a clip of the entire sitcom cast participating in his show’s best known segment Wednesday. That sketch started with Corden driving a touring cart through Warner Bros. Studio when he’s waved down by cast members, two at a time, as he makes his way through the set. The unexpected bit was filmed while the “Friends” reunion, which aired March 27, was being made.

“I’m here at Warner Brother’s Studios on my way to the iconic stage 24 where one of the biggest reunions...” Corden says, before being flagged down my actors Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow, who claim they need a lift to the studio.

Corden slows down, the stars jump in, and he drives forward setting up the show intro once more. This time, he’s stopped by actors Jennifer Aniston and Matt LeBlanc, who also ask for a rid to the studio. Corden obliges, starts driving again, and comes across David Schwimmer and Mathew Perry, who also say they need a ride.

With the whole cast of the smash hit sitcom gathered, Corden asks if they want to hear a little music. He then starts playing “I’ll Be There for You” by the Rembrandts, which was the theme played at the start of “Friends” during its run from 1994 to 2004 and everyone in his vehicle sings along.

After the singing ends, Corden pulls his vehicle up to the studio and exits, but fails to put his vehicle in park, causing the cart to roll backwards with most of show’s cast members still inside. They shout “James!” and he jumps back inside and hits the brake.

“Honestly, just nearly killed the cast of Friends,” he says after the actors exit the vehicle and safely walk into the studio.

Once inside, Aniston confesses to her former castmates that she was momentarily spooked by Corden’s mishap.
