See who the ESPN 'College Gameday' crew picked to win Penn State-Auburn football game

The ESPN "College Gameday" crew picked Auburn football to lose to No. 22 Penn State on Saturday.

Desmond Howard, Pat McAfee, Lee Corso and Kirk Herbstreit went with Penn State. Celebrity guest picker Luke Combs, who attended Appalachian State before pursuing music, went with the Tigers.

"This is one of those games where you're going to learn a lot more about both teams," Herbstreit said. "We just don't know, I trust Penn State a little bit more than I do Auburn's offense. That's why I'm going to go with Clifford and the balance of Penn State."

The game will kick off at 2:30 p.m. CT on CBS.

Penn State (2-0) won the first game in the home-and-home series last season, 28-20, as the Tigers' (2-0) offense stalled out at the 26-yard line as the clock ran out.

The ESPN weekly show was carried live from from Boone, North Carolina, for the first time ahead of Appalachian State's matchup with Troy. The show went to Boone after the Mountaineers upset victory over Texas A&M last week.
