What better way to honor Jimmy Buffett, than with a party along the West Palm Beach waterfront. Last week fans of Jimmy Buffett, 'Parrot Heads', celebrated the late singer at a special "Clematis by Night Celebrates Jimmy Buffett." The memorial event also featured the well-known Jimmy Buffett tribute band The Caribbean Chillers.
The Caribbean Chillers are led by lead singer and Buffett lookalike Jason Webb, who has been playing Jimmy's music personally for years and with the band for the past 15. Their set included all the hits including "Margaritaville," "Cheeseburger in Paradise," "A Pirate Looks at 40" and "Son of a Son of a Sailor."
In his own words: Jimmy Buffett a long-time Palm Beach County resident
In addition to the tribute band and live music, West Palm Beach Mayor Keith A. James proclaimed the date “Jimmy Buffett Day.”
