See what fires burning in Oklahoma look like
Heavy winds are contributing to fires starting across Oklahoma on Friday.
In north Oklahoma City, fire crews are attempting to get a a grass fire on East Hefner Road under control after the fire jumped Kelley Avenue and spread to nearby structures.

Critical to extreme fire weather conditions are ongoing across Oklahoma this afternoon.
There have already been several fires across the state. The shortwave infrared band (3.9 μm) has detected several hot spots.
