Netflix will release a documentary about Britney Spears’ controversial conservatorship battle.

The streaming platform released the official trailer for the film “Britney Vs. Spears” on Wednesday afternoon.

“I’ve worked my whole life, I don’t owe these people anything,” the singer is heard in a voiceover in the clip. “I deserve to have the same rights as anybody does. It’s been 13 years and it’s enough!”

On Tuesday, an 18-second clip was released featuring the former chart-topping pop music star being heard leaving a message for an attorney Jan. 21, 2009, around 12:29 a.m.

“Hi. My name is Britney Spears. I called you earlier. I’m calling again because I just wanted to make sure that during the process of eliminating the conservatorship…” Spears says in the teaser.

Directed by Erin Lee Carr, the film is said to center around Spears’ conservatorship, and will reportedly feature key figures in her life.

Academy Award-nominated documentary filmmaker Liz Garbus is a co-executive producer of the film Netflx said features “years-long investigative work, exclusive interviews and new documents” that “paints a thorough portrait of the pop star’s trajectory from girl next door to a woman trapped by fame and family and her own legal status.”

Garbus previously helmed the Emmy and Peabody Award-winning Netflix documentary, “What Happened, Miss Simone?”

Earlier this month, the singer’s father Jamie Spears asked a judge to end her 13-year conservatorship, which has come under intense media attention in recent years, sparking the #FreeBritney movement.

“Britney Vs. Spears” is expected to drop Sept. 28, a day ahead of Spears’ next court date.

In February, Hulu and FX released “Framing Britney Spears,” detailing the “I’m a Slave 4 U” singer’s battles and the #FreeBritney movement.
