The University of Central Florida in Orlando is No. 5 among Florida’s best colleges in 2023, according to the latest report by Pittsburgh-based ranking and review company Niche.

The Best Colleges list is ranked on analysis of academic, admissions, financial and student life data collected by the U.S. Department of Education, according to Niche.

“Admissions is fairly competitive as the Central Florida acceptance rate is 45%. Popular majors include liberal arts and humanities, psychology, and nursing. Graduating 74% of students, Central Florida alumni go on to earn a starting salary of $37,100,” added Niche.
