See Fort Myers, Lee County, power outage map as Hurricane Ian impacts Florida

Power outages continued Tuesday across swaths of Southwest Florida. As of about 12:30 p.m., Florida Power and Light reported the following number of households without electricity:

  • Collier County: 17,660, or about 8% of the power company’s total customer count of 228,540

  • Lee: 67,120, or about 23%

  • Charlotte: 76,430, or about 60%

  • Sarasota: 69,770, or about 24%

  • Manatee: 16,360, or about 8%
