Who doesn’t love a free concert?

The California Mid-State Fair has announced its lineup for the 805 Beer Frontier Stage this summer, featuring acts including a 1980s New Wave band, “American Idol” winners and children of country music legends.

All shows are free with paid admission to the Paso Robles fair. They begin at 8 p.m. unless otherwise listed.

Here’s your look at who is performing, according to a fair news release.

Miss California Mid-State Fair Scholarship Pageant

When: July 19, 6 p.m.

Contestants compete for the title of Miss California Mid-State Fair. The winner will be crowned based on how they perform in an interview, their fair or pageant platform, a final question, talent round and evening wear display. The winner receives a $1,000 prize.

Shake, Rattle & Roll

When: July 20

Taking a cue from this year’s Mid-State Fair theme, Elvis Presley impersonator Scot Bruce will celebrate the King of Rock and Roll with the help of a “rockin’ four-piece band,” the release said.

Legends in Concert (Direct from London)

When: July 21

Legends in Concert is one of the “longest running and most-awarded shows in Las Vegas,” according to the release. This Direct From London show will pay tribute to some of the biggest icons in British music history — including Elton John, Freddie Mercury, Rod Stewart and Adele.

Ned LeDoux

When: July 22

Ned LeDoux, son of country singer Chris LeDoux, is “carrying on the family tradition” as a performer and touring across the United States, the release said. LeDoux will perform songs from his 2022 album, “Buckskin.”

Los Morros del Norte

When: July 23

Mexican Norteño band Los Morros del Norte features the music of four brothers and their cousin with a “unique and original style” and “pure northern flavor,” according to the release.

Scotty McCreery

When: July 24

“American Idol” winner Scotty McCreery will perform songs from his country album “Same Truck,” which features singles such as “You Time,” “Damn Strait” and “It Matters to Her.”

A Flock of Seagulls

When: July 25

Flying in from the 1980s, New Wave band A Flock of Seagulls will take to the free stage to perform their hit “I Ran (So Far Away),” among other songs.

Ben Haggard

When: July 26

The offspring of another well-known country singer is also set to take the stage at this Mid-State Fair this summer. Ben Haggard, youngest son of Merle Haggard, will perform.

Iam Tongi

When: July 27

Fresh off a win from season 21 of “American Idol,” Iam Tongi will take to the Frontier Stage to perform. His recent hits include “I’ll Be Seeing You,” according to the release.

Tyler Rich

When: July 28

“Northern California-raised, Nashville-rooted” singer Tyler Rich has nearly half a billion global streams for his work, the release said, including “The Difference” — “a staple at country music stations.”

The Original Wailers

When: July 29

Reggae group The Original Wailers will feature Al Anderson’s “stunning lead work” on classics such as “No Woman, No Cry” and “Three O’Clock Road Block,” according to the release. Anderson is best known for his work with Bob Marley & The Wailers.

Shane Profitt

When: July 30

Country music singer Shane Profitt will bring his “straight-shooting swagger” to the Mid-State Fair this year, the release said, performing his hit song “How it Oughta Be.”
