See gorgeous gardens on the Moon Township Garden Club tour

MOON TWP. ― Moon Township Garden Club will host its Gorgeous Garden Tour from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 24.

The tour will feature seven unique and meticulously maintained gardens.

In addition, prominent western Pennsylvania artists from the West Hills Art League will be painting “en plein aire” (in the fresh air) at some of the featured gardens.

Tickets can be pre-purchased now for $20 or $25 the day of the tour, which takes place rain or shine. Tour participants can pick up booklets with addresses and information about the gardens on the day of the tour at the Robin Hill Center, 949 Thorn Run Road.

The tour also will feature a sale of handcrafted garden accents made by MTGC members on the day of the tour at the Robin Hill Center. They include cement steppingstones, glass “flowers,” painted wooden birdhouse stakes and more.

Proceeds from the tour help support many local charitable causes. Tickets can be purchased on Eventbrite or contact emnorthy@comcast.net.
