See what happened after Lindsey Vonn's dogs chased a porcupine
Lindsey Vonn's dogs have learned the hard way not to chase porcupines.
The retired skiing superstar and Olympian shared a photo on Instagram Tuesday of her two pooches looking less than happy with muzzles of painful-looking quills after they decided to chase a porcupine near Vonn's home in Utah.

"So... my boys got into some trouble over the weekend 😳🤦🏼♀️ " she wrote. "They ran out of the house and chased after a porcupine... as boys do 🙄Incredibly thankful that they are ok. I also greatly appreciate my family and friends for helping them make it home safe and the love and care that they got from White Pine Vet 🙏🏻 You guys are the best!"

The dogs appear on the mend after going to White Pine Veterinary Clinic in Park City, as Vonn included photos and a video of them with the quills removed.
It probably didn't feel too good having them removed considering North American porcupines have microscopic barbs that make it harder to pull the quills out once they’re stuck in there, according to Discover magazine.
"POOR PUPPERS!!!" Olympic javelin thrower Kara Winger wrote.
At least they didn't get a face full like the prickly encounter three Canadian dogs endured in 2015.
Vonn must be used to her dogs getting rowdy at this point, considering she needed stitches in her thumb in 2015 when she tried to break up a fight between them over a Frisbee.
