Right before Super Bowl 2023, football fans in Arizona can party in the presence of legendary pro athletes and celebrities in metro Phoenix.

The Planters brand Legends Party 2023 will take place at Wild Horse Pass Resort and Casino on the Gila River Indian Reservation near Chandler on Friday, Feb. 10, two days before the championship game at State Farm Stadium in Glendale. The event, hosted by former players Rob Gronkowski and Vernon Davis and headlined by Grammy-winning artist Nelly, will be "one epic night of partying just before pro football’s Big Game," according to its website.

The kickoff soiree from 8-10 p.m. will have an open bar, hors d’oeuvres, music and entertainment for all ticketholders (VIPs have access to an exclusive lounge). There will be a comedy roast of the NFL alumni and hosts in attendance before Nelly takes the stage for a 45-minute set of his hits at midnight.

More information, such as which celebrities are scheduled to attend, will be announced at a later date.

Last year’s pre-Super Bowl celebration took place in Hollywood, where Gronkowski hosted and Flo Rida performed.

USA TODAY NETWORK Ventures produces this event. The Arizona Republic is part of the USA TODAY network.
