See LSU football execute a fake punt vs. Alabama on opening drive
LSU football rolled the dice and landed on a first down.
The Tigers executed a fake punt on fourth down and 4 against Alabama on their way to scoring on their opening drive at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
With 10:26 left in the first quarter, punter Avery Atkins tricked the Crimson Tide defense and threw a jump pass to tight end Jack Mashburn for the first down on Alabama's 25-yard line.

Alabama, ranked No. 2 in the first College Football Playoff rankings, enters the game 7-1 overall and 4-1 in the Southeastern Conference. Most recently, the Crimson Tide beat the Tennessee Vols 52-24 on Oct. 23.
