SEE IT: Man assaults young couple with pepper spray outside Chelsea restaurant
A man blasted a young couple with pepper spray in a caught-on-video assault outside a Chelsea restaurant, cops said Sunday.
The victims, an 18-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman, were walking by the Chelsea Italian Ristorante on Eighth Ave. near W. 15th St. about 9:50 p.m. June 1, chatting with each other, when they crossed paths with the assailant.
The attacker, who was walking down the sidewalk toward them, walked past and sprayed both of them, then headed north toward W. 16th St.
Medics treated the victims at the scene.
