SEE IT: NYC gunman wounds teen in New Year’s Day shooting

New video shows the moment a Queens gunman shot a 19-year-old teen on New Year’s Day, wounding the victim.

Police on Friday released snippets of the surveillance video showing the Astoria gun violence.

A group of friends were on 37th Ave. near 12th St. about an hour into 2021 when a gunman opened fire at them, police said.

Video shows the gunman in the red jacket firing at least twice before apparently running out of bullets.

The young victim was shot in the stomach. A man from his group wearing a red jacket and black hooded sweatshirt returned fire but hit no one, cops said.

The first shooter ran off down 13th St. to an awaiting grey four-door Infiniti and drove away, police said.

The teen’s friends took him to New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center where he was listed in stable condition.

The two shooters are still being sought.
