See Ole Miss hit back-to-back-to-back home runs vs. Oklahoma baseball in CWS Finals Game 1

The Ole Miss baseball team's offense erupted in the top of the eighth inning vs. Oklahoma in the College World Series Finals Game 1 on Saturday.

Ole Miss scored four runs in the penultimate inning.

Those runs all came on home runs — back-to-back-to-back home runs.

Providing the power for Ole Miss baseball were TJ McCants, Calvin Harris and Justin Bench. All three home runs came with two outs.

Ole Miss baseball homers 3 consecutive at-bats

TJ McCants provided the first display of power. On the third pitch of his at-bat, he hit a 372-foot home run over the right-field fence.

Hayden Dunhurst also scored on the McCants homer, so those two runs put Ole Miss up 6-2 vs. Oklahoma.

Calvin Harris followed McCants to the plate. On the second pitch of his at-bat, Harris sent a 430-foot home run over the right-center field wall.

Harris' homer put Ole Miss up 7-2 vs. Oklahoma.

Justin Bench completed the trifecta. His 394-foot homer came on the third pitch of his at-bat, and it went over the left-center field fence.

Bench's home run put Ole Miss up 8-2 vs. Oklahoma.

LSU in 1998 was the last team to hit back-to-back-to-back home runs in the College World Series.

Ole Miss defeated Oklahoma 10-3.

Ole Miss improved to 41-23 overall. Oklahoma went to 45-23 overall.

Game 2 of the best-of-three series is scheduled to start at 2 p.m. CT on Sunday.
