That was certainly “the end” of Phoebe Bridgers’ guitar.

The musician provided a memorable moment during her performance of “I Know The End” on “Saturday Night Live” this weekend by smashing her guitar at the song’s conclusion.

Her guitar smash earned mix reviews from people on social media, with one Twitter user named Olivia DeToma suggesting the moment will be “the most cathartic thing i will see all year.”

Another user with the handle @Thrawnkill sang a different tune, tweeting, “Folks waiting for that stimulus check and she out smashing one. Oh the privilege.”

Sharing a similar sentiment was the user @Gemini_688, who wrote, “I really enjoyed her music and became a fan of her with her performance. That being said, guitar smashing has always and will always scream entitlement to me.. not attitude.”

That tweet continued, “There are people who cannot afford guitars and see that being destroyed. Come at me, can’t change my mind.”

Bridgers, 26, is an indie rock singer-songwriter who released her second album, “Punisher,” last year.

She is nominated for four Grammys at next month’s awards show, with “Punisher” up for best alternative music album. Bridgers is also nominated for best new artist.

“Schitt’s Creek” star Dan Levy was the host of Saturday’s episode of “SNL.”
