Former First Lady Michelle Obama is back – in her first sitcom-acting role.

For the eighth and final season of ABC’s award-winning “black-ish,” Obama appears for the season premiere.

In the episode, Rainbow (portrayed by Tracee Ellis Ross) and her husband Andre (Anthony Anderson) attend a When We All Vote fund-raiser, and the featured speaker at the event just so happens to be Mrs. Obama.

They invite her to dinner and, to their surprise, she accepts their invitation.

And of course Ruby Johnson, played by Jenifer Lewis, shares in the moment, yucking it up as usual.

Since its 2014 premiere, the Kenya Barris-created series has made several references to America’s first Black first family.

The clan dressed up as the Obamas in season 2′s Halloween episode, “Jacked o’ Lantern,” and the 2016 episode “Hope” used archival footage of Barack Obama’s historical inauguration.

Back in October, the network teased the ex-FLOTUS’ appearance by sharing an image of the cast with their VIP guest on social media channels.

The final season of “black-ish” premieres on Jan. 4 at 9:30 p.m. EDT on ABC.
