See the photos: Panama City Beach, one month after the storms

A month after a couple of early morning tornadoes blew through Panama City Beach area near Thomas Drive, wreaking havoc, damage is still prevalent with tarps on roofs and debris stacked up.

The News Herald took a ride along some of the places visited a month ago and found some good and some bad.

This apartment complex located on Thomas Drive across from Pirate's Cove Marina took a big hit from the storms on Jan. 9. This photo was taken on Feb. 8.

Power lines that were down are now back up, and piles of debris along some roadways, such as Beach Drive, have been cleared.

However, there are still some areas that are heavily covered with stacks upon stacks of mattresses, bricks, wood and other debris piled high. The house that was knocked off its foundation near Schooners is still leaning.

Here is a look at what we saw.
