Tornado warnings around the Oklahoma City metro area produced several brief tornadoes Thursday evening. Rain, strong wind gusts, and the possibility of hail the size of a baseball were forecast by the National Weather Service.

As of this writing, no significant damage has been reported, but power outages have affected thousands in southern Oklahoma City, Moore and Norman.
