Alabama is experiencing another bout of severe weather as storms move across the deep south Wednesday night into Thursday morning.
Nearly 10,000 customers are without power across Alabama as of 3 p.m., according to poweroutage.us.
The National Weather Service radar showed confirmed tornadoes down in Tuscaloosa, Sumter and Bibb counties with reports of downed trees and powerlines throughout the state.
A #tornado watch has been issued for parts of Alabama and Tennessee until 1 a.m. CDT. Widespread gusts of up to 80 mph and a few tornadoes are likely. pic.twitter.com/84g0iymEC4
