Mississippi is experiencing another bout of severe weather as storms move across the deep south Wednesday afternoon.
A confirmed tornado touched down in Jackson as warnings and watches continue throughout the state.
Nearly 15,000 customers are without power across Mississippi, according to poweroutage.us.

Reports of outages and downed trees
Trees are being reported down in the county and we have some outages in the Waterford, Springdale and Sardis Lake areas. Our crews are working as quickly and safely as possible to restore power to those areas. Thank you for your patience. #nemepa
