See who qualified for the CIF state swimming championships from the Fresno area

The Central Section qualifiers have been set for the high school swimming and diving state championships.

Clovis West High held the section Division I championships on a cool, breezy Saturday morning.

Clovis North boys and Clovis West girls won the section with strong performances by its swimmers in the three-day meet at the Clovis West Aquatic Center.

Hayden Lambert of Clovis North qualified for the state meet after his double win in the 200 freestyle and 500 freestyle. His times were 1:39.69 and 4:30.88, respectively.

The top four placers in each event qualify for the state meet, which will also be held at Clovis West.
