Sunday morning drivers, be prepared to plan a detour before you hit the road.

Various road closures will be in place as runners take to the streets for the 3M Half Marathon, which returns to Austin after being canceled due to COVID precautions in 2021. Nearly 6,000 participants are expected for the point-to-point race, which begins at 7:30 a.m. on Stonelake Boulevard in North Austin and ends on San Jacinto Boulevard next to the state Capitol.

Check here for the full list of road closures from the City of Austin. Highways will remain fully accessible, and most streets will reopen by noon.
