See the shot that made former Islanders basketball star John Jordan $250,000 richer

Former Texas A&M-Corpus Christi basketball player John Jordan is $250,000 richer after winning the Ones Basketball League basketball championship in Las Vegas this past weekend.

Jordan beat George Beamon with a late shot to win 10-9 in the final and claim the quarter of a million dollar prize.

Jordan won $10,000 earlier this year in the league at a tournament in Houston. The league was created by former NBA star Tracy McGrady and had six regional events through the spring and summer. Jordan was one of 22 players to qualify for the finals.

Jordan played at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi from 2011 to 2015 and scored more than 1,500 points, grabbed 500 rebounds and had 500 assists during his stellar career with the Islanders.
