Ashley Graham has embraced hers, since after all they are indications of having brought life into this world.
Rather than Photoshop them out, the mom of 6-month-old Isaac has posed for photos in her swimsuit line to show them off as the badges of honor they are.
Snapped by husband Justin Ervin in Graham’s Nebraska hometown, the photos show the plus-sized model posing in a variety of bikinis.
“Some things I love: a cute bathing suit and a backyard shoot with the family!” she wrote on Instagram. “We’ve had such great time making the most of this summer in Nebraska and these suits have me feeling great for my first summer as a mommy!”
Graham has released a new, size-inclusive swimwear line in collaboration with Swimsuits For All, the size 4-24 suits vibrant with color, lace and prints, and the shots decidedly not Photoshopped.
“A lot of women I speak to have image issues, body issues around confidence,” Graham told People in an exclusive interview. “I want them to understand that we all have things that society has told us to cover up, and why do we need to do that? So here I am with mine out and about and proud.”
