See Thanksgiving hours for Weis, Giant, Walmart, liquor stores and more in Centre County

At long last, Thanksgiving Day is almost here. Whether you’re stocking up on turkey and fixings or itching to head out and scour for Black Friday deals, we’ve got your last-minute shopping covered.

Here’s a brief overview of the upcoming hours for grocery stores and liquor stores throughout parts of Centre County. Some of their schedules and services may vary by location, so make sure you check with your preferred site.

Aldi

Aldi’s Centre County stores, located at 780 Benner Pike and 1798 N. Atherton St. in State College, will close all day for Thanksgiving.

They will operate from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday.

Fine Wine & Good Spirits

All four Fine Wine & Good Spirits stores in the State College area — Southridge Plaza, Hamilton Square, North Atherton and Benner Pike — are closed Thanksgiving Day. They will operate from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, with the exception of the 1682 North Atherton location, which is open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Giant

Giant’s Northland Center, Benner Pike and South Atherton grocery stores will open at 6 a.m. and close at 11 p.m. Wednesday.

According to the company’s website, all of Giant’s stores, including its three Centre County locations, will close at 2 p.m. Thanksgiving Day. Pharmacies will not open on the holiday.

Sam’s Club

This membership-only store, located at 381 Benner Pike in State College, will open for business from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday before closing entirely for Thanksgiving, according to its website.

Target

Target stores will close nationwide for Thanksgiving, the company says.

Target’s State College location at 315 Colonnade Blvd. will open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday and from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Black Friday. The downtown State College location at 201 W. Beaver Ave. will open its doors at 7 a.m. and 6 a.m. Wednesday and Friday, respectively, before closing at 10 p.m.

Trader Joe’s

The Trader Joe’s store at 243 Patriot Lane in State College will open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday before closing for Thanksgiving.

Walmart

Walmart stores will close nationally for Thanksgiving, according to the company’s website.

The company’s State College locations at 1665 N. Atherton St. and 373 Benner Pike will open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Wednesday and Friday.

Wegmans

According to the company’s website, Wegmans stores will close at 4 p.m. Thanksgiving and reopen at 6 a.m. Friday alongside pharmacies. The State College store at 345 Colonnade Blvd. is open from 6 a.m. to midnight on Wednesday.

Weis (Bellefonte)

This store, located at 170 Buckaroo Lane in Bellefonte, is open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thanksgiving and from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday. Normal operation from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. is scheduled for Wednesday.

Weis (Philipsburg)

This store, located at 110 501 N. Centre St. in Philipsburg, is open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. for Thanksgiving and from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday. Normal operation from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. is slated for Wednesday.

Weis (Martin Street)

This store, located at 1471 Martin St. in State College, is open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thanksgiving and from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday. Normal operation from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. is expected for Wednesday.

Weis (Rolling Ridge Drive)

This store, located at 110 Rolling Ridge Drive in State College, is open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. for Thanksgiving and from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday. Normal operation from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. is slated for Wednesday.

Weis (Westerly Parkway)

This store, located at 560 Westerly Parkway in State College, is open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thanksgiving and from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday. Normal operation from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. is scheduled for Wednesday.
