SEE IT: Woman randomly slashed in back of neck by stranger on Brooklyn street

A woman was randomly slashed in the back of her neck by a stranger outside a Brooklyn subway station, shocking video released by police Monday shows.

The 24-year-old victim was attacked as she passed by the Franklin Ave. station near Fulton St. in Prospect Heights about 4:32 a.m. Dec. 22, cops said.

The video shows the attacker reaching out with an unknown object to seemingly spontaneously slash the victim as she walks by on the sidewalk.

The victim suffered a deep gash to the back of her neck. She was treated at Kings County Hospital.

Her attacker ran off north on Franklin Ave. Cops are asking the public’s help identifying him and tracking him down.

He is described as between 48 and 50, about 5-foot-10 and 180 pounds. He was wearing a black coat, blue sweatshirt and blue sweatpants.
