Barron Collier baseball player Dylan Cleveland has been voted the Naples Daily News Athlete of the Week presented by Babcock Ranch for May 2-7.
Cleveland, a Florida Tech commit, allowed just one hit across 5 2/3 innings in a 5-1 win over Naples to capture the Class 5A-District 14 championship, Barron's sixth consecutive title dating back to 2016.

Cleveland finished with 12,289 votes (50.50%), while Naples girls lacrosse player Georgia Kent placed second, garnering 10,918 votes (44.86%) of the 24,336 cast. Winners receive an Athlete of the Week T-shirt provided by BSN SPORTS.

Baseball
Dylan Cleveland, Barron Collier: Allowed just one hit across 5 2/3 innings in a 5-1 win over Naples to capture the Class 5A-District 14 championship, Barron's sixth consecutive title dating back to 2016.
Softball
Reese Gill, Barron Collier: Threw five perfect innings against Immokalee, striking out 12 in a 4-3 win. Gill also went 3-for-4 at the plate to help Barron advance to the district championship.
Girls Lacrosse
Georgia Kent, Naples: Scored a pair of goals in the first half of the Class 1A State Semifinals against American Heritage-Delray.
Boys Track and Field
Jacob Panzarella, First Baptist: Picked up regional titles in the 100-, 200-, 400-, and 4x400 meter relays at the Class 1A-Region 3 meet to help the Lions advance to the state meet.
Girls Track and Field
Molie Jean Baptiste, Naples: Won the high jump with a mark of 1.72m, the only female in Class 3A to achieve that mark.
