Seeking happy-hour specials in Columbus? Check out Marcella's drinks and discounted food
With the the popularity of happy hours at bars and restaurants around the country, people are finding more places to enjoy discounted food and drinks.
In the past month, The Dispatch has offered four happy hour recommendations: The first was the GOAT, then The Pearl, Forno and High Bank Distillery.
Continuing this series, our next suggestion is Marcella's. A Cameron Mitchell restaurant with two locations, one in Polaris and another in the Short North, Marcella's offers discounted drinks and food, including select pizzas.
If you haven't been to a Marcella's location, here's why we recommend it.

Marcella's
Where: 615 N. High St., Short North; 1319 Polaris Parkway
When: 4 to 6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays
Menu: The menu's differ slightly by location. At the Short North, customers can get half-off drinks, which includes sangria by the glass, specialty cocktails and spirits, beer and wine glass pours up to $9. As for the food, you can order half-off appetizers, cheese, soups, antipasti, pizza, cured meats and salads.
The Polaris location doesn't offer a sangria special, but does offer $5 handcrafted cocktails and select spirits. Its domestic beers and imports are $3 and crafts are $3.50. The restaurant also offers half-off select small plates, pizzas and sandwiches.
