Have you seen this dog? York activist's pet and car stolen; they might still be in PA

Pennsylvania is keeping an eye out for a blue Audi Q5, and more importantly a friendly canine, after they were stolen from a York activist Saturday evening.

Samantha Fullam said she ran into Prince Street Café on a quick errand, leaving the car on for her furry friend. She looked out the window and thought she saw a car leaving from her spot. When she got back, her car was gone.

And in the car was Wilder, Fullam's 5-year-old white fluffy Border Collie and Australian Shepherd mix. When he was last seen he was wearing a chain collar, green harness and rainbow color lead.

"I don't care about the car," Fullam said. "My sweet, very anxious puppy, (to) not know what's happening to him, is really, really hard."

Fullam and friends have been canvasing the neighborhood, distributing fliers, social media posts and general calls for help in locating the lost pooch.

The vehicle is a 2018 Audi Q5 with the license plate LRA-2929, taken from Continental Square in York.

Fullam has invested in York County through her work with food, clothing and supply drives for those in need. She has worked with local churches and nonprofits to organize large drives where they distribute thousands of items in donations.

"The people of York, as the people of York always are, being wonderful and very supportive and sharing this far and wide and I think that's been the most helpful thing so far."

According to Fullam groups like the lost dog forum Find Toby and general social chatter have been helpful in trying to keep tabs on where Wilder could be.

In a post Monday, Fullam she said her credit card was used around 6 a.m. at two gas stations on Kensington Avenue in Philadelphia, but the police did not find anything there. She also said someone around Kensington thought they saw a dog that looked like Wilder running near the highway in Bucks County.

Anyone who spots Wilder can call Fullam at 717-659-6064. Anyone who spots the car should call 911.

This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
