Have you seen him? Merced police looking for last of three suspects in December killing

Authorities are looking for the last of three suspects in connection with the stabbing death of a man in Merced in December.

Alexander Xavier Morales, 18, is wanted for murder in connection with the death of 21-year-old Jordan Terrell Love, according to a Merced Police Department news release.

Police said officers responded just after midnight on Dec. 21 to a report of an assault in the 1100 block of B Street and found Love suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was taken to a regional trauma center where he died of his injuries.

According to police, Jose Joya-Flores Jr., 26, Julius Joya-Flores, 22, and Morales were identified as suspects. Both Jose Joya-Flores Jr. and Julius Joya-Flores were arrested by detectives on multiple felony charges including first-degree murder and the two men remain in custody.

Morales was never located by authorities and his current whereabouts are unknown, according to the release. Morales is said to be 5 feet 9 inches tall and weigh about 180 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
