Seguin's home severely damaged in Dallas-area tornado

A house owned by Dallas Stars forward Tyler Seguin was severely damaged by a tornado on Sunday night.

Seguin had since moved to a different home and is in the process of selling the four-bedroom, 7,311 square foot estate in North Dallas.

"Thanks to everyone reaching out about the news tonight, I am safe," the 27-year-old Seguin wrote on Twitter. "Luckily this is my house for sale and I have moved into a new one. I just left the area and it is an extremely sad sight to see. Prayers to everyone affected by the tornado."

Per CBS Dallas-Fort Worth, at least six people received treatment in a hospital with storm-related injuries on Sunday night.

A Stanley Cup champion and four-time All-Star, Seguin signed an eight-year, $78.7 million contract extension with the Stars in September 2018. He has collected two goals and three assists in 10 games this season.
