'Seize the moment': Eastern Nazarene College graduates 169 in Quincy

QUINCY – Graduates of Eastern Nazarene College were urged "to become the agent of change" during the school's 100th commencement ceremony Saturday on the lawn in front of Gardner Hall.

Undergraduate and master's degrees were awarded to 169 students.

Gustavo Crocker, general superintendent of the Church of the Nazarene, gave the commencement speech.

He reminded graduates to recognize the privilege they have as college graduates and called for students to choose between "comfort" and "transformation."

"Remember, your privilege gives you the choice to become the agent of change," he said. "This is your time to share hope in midst of the hopelessness, to speak for the voiceless. ... This is your time to reach your dreams. ... Just seize the moment."
