Dan Wetzel & SI’s Pat Forde give their reactions to the 2023 NCAA tournament bracket reveal. The guys break down who has the most to gain and the most to lose in the upcoming tournament including some pretty big names.

The podcast starts by discussing how the coverage of Alabama’s Brandon Miller will unfold throughout the tournament. The Alabama faithful aren’t helping the team by getting shirts banned at the SEC tournament, but that didn’t seem to affect one of the best teams in the nation.

Kansas Jayhawks head coach Bill Self had to miss the Big-12 tournament due to a health condition, but he is ready to take his team on a deep run. Purdue’s Matt Painter is trying to finally get the Boilermakers over the hump & the gang believes he has a team that can make some noise. The Houston Cougars fall into the Purdue category with a disciplined team that plays hard defense, but Kelvin Sampson will have to figure out a way to score in a very competitive division.

The blue chip teams are complex this year with Kentucky having all the tools, but being unable to make it all click when they need it. On the other side of the spectrum, the Duke Blue Devils are white hot and Jon Scheyer could use a deep run to solidify himself as the guy for Duke.

Lastly, in news of the weird, our neighbors up north in Canada have provided clarity to whether or not flipping someone the bird is illegal, and there is a new drinking guidance for the country.
