  • Selena Gomez has purchased the late Tom Petty's former California home.

  • The Encino mansion reportedly set Gomez back $5 million.

  • The property apparently features six bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, and recently underwent a full renovation.

Selena Gomez is ready to make a change. According to reports, the "Rare" singer has purchased a new home, and it set her back a cool $5 million.

E! News described the mansion "as a modern and airy lodge with the decor of a California beach home." According to E!, the house boasts an in-home recording studio, which is perfect for the musician, and is rumored to have secret passageways built by original owner and music legend, Tom Petty. As if the property didn't sound perfect enough, it also contains a wine cellar, a massage room and gym, and a second kitchen.

According to Realtor.com, "There are also fountains, waterfalls, and a gorgeous pool out back. The home sits on an acre lot off Ventura Boulevard, and happens to be located adjacent to Vin Diesel's multimillion-dollar spread." We'd love to see Gomez in the next Fast and Furious movie, so maybe her new neighbor can help make that happen.

Gomez recently posted photos on Instagram of herself cooking at home and wrote, "Trying to take a cute/serious pic of me cooking but then felt embarrassed so I’m using the candid where I look so happy but I really feel kinda cheesy. 😏 Anyway, I shared a few lists in my stories of things I’m watching, listening to and reading to keep me positive and help pass the time. Hope it helps you 💖."
