Selena Gomez Was the Maid of Honor at Cousin Priscilla DeLeon's Wedding

And her dress was just as elegant as you'd expect.

Selena Gomez is clearly a dream to have in any bridal party.

Just a few months after fulfilling her maid of honor duties for BFF Courtney Barry, Sel was back at it again while celebrating the wedding of her cousin and good friend Priscilla DeLeon. As noted by E! News, Selena was an elegant maid of honor in Priscilla’s wedding to Jay Cosme, which took place on Friday, July 19, just outside of Dallas, Texas.

According to pictures circulating on social media, Selena and the rest of the bridesmaids all wore long, elegant strapless black dresses, complete with an eye-catching thigh-high slit. The singer-songwriter finished off her look with classic black heels and simple jewelry, while keeping her hair loose and wavy around her face.

In addition to pics of her outfit, clips from Selena’s touching maid of honor speech soon made the social media rounds. The videos show the singer telling her cousin “you taught me to be strong,” and ending with an emotional: “I love you.”

Priscilla and Jay’s elegant wedding was in the planning stages for a few years, with Selena seemingly involved in many steps along the way. Back in 2016, the friends and cousins announced Sel’s maid of honor role with an adorable Instagram photo, and Selena even surprised Priscilla with the wedding dress of her dreams the following year.

In the final weeks leading up to the wedding, Selena attended Priscilla’s beachy bachelorette party, marking the occasion with a ‘grammable sunset picture. “I wouldn’t want anyone else standing next to me at the alter,” the new bride wrote on Instagram in early July, adding: “My maid of honor really showed out this weekend and threw me the bachelorette party of my dreams. I am forever grateful.” We have just one question: can Selena be in all of our weddings one day, too?
