Selena Gomez Has a Matcha Date with Her Dog in Los Angeles
Selena Gomez had a hot date in Los Angeles with her pup Winnie, grabbing some matcha with her furry friend on Friday. She was also accompanied by a friend, who she happened to match, with both wearing black tops and jeans.
Winnie has had a busy life since becoming part of Gomez’s life. She was first spotted with the singer/actress at Coachella in April, and has since been photographed accompanying her to birthday parties and group hikes.
While her ex-boyfriend, Justin Bieber has been (very publicly) focusing on his marriage to Hailey Bieber, Gomez has reportedly been intentionally laying low and taking time to focus on herself.
“Selena is focusing on her mental health and has been reading, exercising, eating well and spending time with her close friends and family,” a source told Us Weekly back in February. “She isn’t necessarily looking to date right now.”
Gomez later confirmed this during a visit to the Dream It Real podcast, saying that she was looking forward to just being by herself.
“I’m looking forward to spending time alone [this year],” she said. “I think I’m finally, finally at the age where I love being alone.”
During the interview she also discussed the importance of having strong friendships, saying that her friends “saved [her] life.”
“I’ve seen a lot of cattiness, and I think it’s so important to have healthy friendships. I really do. I mean my friends, without a doubt, have saved my life in multiple situations. I mean that,” she said. “Because they’re honest, they’re loving, they unconditionally love, they never judge, and they give me sound advice. And all my friends are different: one’s in real estate, one works in social media, one works in foundations. It’s just great. We’re all so different and we love each other.”
