Selena Gomez Posed With Jennifer Lopez and Wore Two Great Outfits at Vax Live's Concert

Selena Gomez had a big day Sunday, filming the Global Citizen Vax Live: The Concert To Reunite The World special that will air next weekend in Inglewood, California. Gomez is hosting the event, and photos of her wearing two great outfits there have emerged.

She also posed with the event's headliner, Jennifer Lopez, backstage in her red Bottega Veneta dress. This is Gomez's first big televised event with her new blonde hair, and it's clear from Gomez's makeup and outfits that her team chose looks that would complement Gomez's lighter locks.

Gomez has been vocal on her social media about global vaccine distribution, calling on leaders from wealthy countries to donate any vaccine surplus to poorer countries in need.

She praised President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris for joining the initiative, writing, “Pleased @POTUS & @VP are joining me for #VaxLive and that America will share 60M vaccines with countries in need.” In the same tweet, she called out British Prime Minister Boris Johnson for not joining too: “@BorisJohnson time for the UK to also join and announce the UK will start sharing some of its 113M excess doses! No one is safe until everyone is safe.”

She also condemned social media giants Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for allowing disinformation from anti-vaxxers about the COVID-19 vaccines to spread on their platforms. “This is unbelievable! I don’t understand why @facebook, @instagram, and @twitter are allowing the spread of this disinformation,” she wrote. “It’s so important that everyone gets vaccinated or this pandemic will never come to an end. They need to do their part and not allow this.”
