Self Serv Selfies opens a self-service photography studio at Erie's Liberty Center

Erie's Liberty Center has a new business open and another coming soon.

Self Serv Selfies, a self-service photography studio, is open at the plaza. Owned by Erie native Jerry Hicks, the studio offers backgrounds and interactive rooms where customers can take photos of themselves, their friends, family and pets.

Also new at the shopping center will be Rotech Healthcare, which operates approximately 300 locations nationwide providing ventilators, oxygen, sleep apnea treatment and wound care solutions.

Another business has renewed its lease. Fred's Furniture is a family-owned business that has been located at Liberty Center since 2016.

The shopping center at Liberty and West 38th streets is managed by New Jersey-based Levin Management Corporation.

• Erie Regional Chamber and Growth Partnership launches its Erie Ambassadors 2022 program on Jan. 18.

The 10-week program introduces professionals to where Erie has been and what's being done to move it forward.

Sessions are held Tuesdays from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. through March 22 and focus on manufacturing; startups and entrepreneurship; diversity, equity and inclusion; tourism; food and beverage production; and other topics.

• Sheetz has been named one of this year's 100 Best Workplaces for Parents by Great Places to Work. The list, now in its sixth year, recognizes companies that provide generous work environments for parents through parental leave, flexible scheduling, support services and more.

Sheetz was ranked 83rd in the rankings, based on employee feedback surveys.
