DOVER — Are you looking to sell your home, but don’t know where to start? Join Dover Public Library on Wednesday, May 24 at 6:30 p.m. for a free sellers seminar. The event will take place in-person, with an option to watch virtually from home. Those wishing to view online will need to sign up at library.dover.nh.gov to access a link to the program.

Virtual talk with 'Migrations' author Charlotte McConaghy

DOVER — Author Charlotte McConaghy will be joining the Dover Public Library for a virtual conversation at 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 25. The talk is in partnership with Chelmsford Public Library and One Book Chelmsford, which featured “Migrations” as this year’s book. The conversation will be led by Meena Jain, director of the Ashland Public Library in Ashland, Massachusetts. To attend the virtual program, those interested will need to sign up on the Dover Public Library’s website at library.dover.nh.gov to receive a link. Attendees are also welcome to send in their questions for the author in advance. Requests can be sent to Jessica FitzHanso at jfitzhanso@chelmsfordlibrary.org.

PORTSMOUTH — Help celebrate Portsmouth’s 400th anniversary with a tour of Big Trees on Saturday, May 27 at 9 a.m. The tour will start at the historic Moffett Ladd House with their champion Horsechestnut planted by William Whipple after the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Walking through town from there to the Discovery Center, we will then head to the library, the South Cemetery, around to the City Hall, to Haven Park and end at the Langdon House.
